Hello, I’m Tara Petito. I am a proud mom of three, a DV advocate, and someone who believes deeply in the power of love, memories, and living life to the fullest.

I’m blessed with two amazing sons and one beautiful daughter. Gabby, my gorgeous stepdaughter, was my only girl, and I never saw myself as “just the stepmom.” She reflected so much of who I am - in the way she acted, carried herself, and even in how she looked. We used to laugh about that all the time.

After her tragic murder, Gabby reshaped the way I see the world. She taught me that life is fragile, that moments with the people we love matter more than anything, and that taking photos isn’t just about pictures - it’s about preserving the memories that keep our hearts full.

I was born and raised in Suffolk County, New York, and graduated from Commack High School before earning my Bachelor of Business Administration at Hofstra University. I spent 15 years working in finance and later moved my family to Florida to begin a new chapter.

I am an animal lover, love to travel, and someone who finds joy in simple moments with family. The beach will always be my happy place - a reminder to breathe, reflect, and stay grounded in what truly matters.
